Weekly meal plan 1.21.13

It was a beautiful weekend here in Midland. Saturday afternoon was 65 degrees of sunny goodness and we moved to the porch to enjoy it. Connor loved it also!
Here’s this weeks meal plan. Hopefully I do better at cooking this week than last week. I was super lazy last week.

Tonight: sweet and sour chicken with brown rice
Tuesday: pot roast, mashed potatoes and salad
Wednesday: forgotten chicken
Thursday: slow cooker pulled pork sandwiches
Friday: take out

I’m so excited to get back to a schedule again. I love the holidays but with all the parties and get togethers we eat out more than in and that gets expensive. It also makes it a little hard to stay healthy. Here’s this week’s plan.

Tonight: pork chops in a pesto sauce with pasta and green beans
Tuesday: chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and corn
Wednesday: sautéed chicken and creamy garlic pasta
Thursday: breakfast burritos

Tonight: pork chops and lemon thyme rice and oven fried okra
Tuesday: ranch style chicken sandwiches and french onion soup
Wednesday: mexican lasagna (this is a trial run. If it turns out good I’ll put up the recipe)
Thursday: take out after practice
Friday: date night

Wednesday: sichuan chicken noodle soup
Thursday: take out or leftovers after praise and worship practice
Friday: birthday party for me!!
