We actually had a New Year’s party this year at our house. It was so much fun. We played rock band, counted down the new year and played Scene It. We actually fit 11 people in our little house! It was very crowed with all the people and rock band but we managed. Food, games and friends, it couldn’t get any better!
Well Christmas has come and gone again and I have to say it was pretty great. We had Christmas at my parents and also at Lloyd and Teresa’s. Then Christmas evening Jace and I had Christmas by ourselves. We got out our new fine china and cooked steaks, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. (I can’t have a meal without it) We were very disappointed that we didn’t make it to Georgia this year but we will definitely go next year. We got lots of gifts. Jace got me a necklace from Tiffany and Co. and I got him several different things including pajamas, a salt cellar and a lazer thermometer. I think everything in the house has had its temperature taken including poor Marilyn. I don’t think she enjoyed the little red lazer light. He also got an x box 360 that doesn’t ever get turned off. He is an addict. (The first step is admitting it, baby!) I got lots of clothes and a new pair of jeans that I needed badly. If anyone knows me at all they know that I love Christmas time. I love the lights and the decorations and everything about it. Well, I finally was able to get our Christmas decorations up this year and through a couple of injuries and trips to Home Depot I think I am almost done. They look great. We got the Christmas Tree up and we decorated our front porch. If I can keep Marilyn out of the tree I will be doing good. She just sits and looks at it longingly ready to jump in the middle of it. The only think stopping her is us yelling at her, “DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT”. I think when we leave she plays with it because I found a ornament in the bathroom, but she hasn’t done too bad so far.
